BOLD BT ALL DRUGGISTS AND DEALERS IN MEDICINE. A.VOGEUEK & CO., Baltimore, Md., V. & A, JUST imagine:how I FELT." - Brunswick, Co., Va., Novembcrth, 1881. Mas. Jok Pkrsos, Franklinton, N.C. Drab Madam: It is with pleasure that I write to tell you that your valua ble Remedy has entirely cured me ot a most feartnl looking and painful sore on ay ankle- It came more than twelve months ago, very much like a ring worm I painted it with Tinct. Iodine, until it became a very painful and bad looking place. Then I commenced to try every thing I could think or hear of, until it became so very painful I could scarcely walk, when I went to the best doctor in the country for advice. He told roe be could cure me if I would take my bed and there remain for four or five weeks, and If I did not do so preuy soon.it could not be cured at all, as the bone would become diseased, and my loot would have to be taken off. J ust imag ine how I felt, to be told there was no cure for the sorebnt to lose my foot or give up all business either of these Re medies would have mined roe. Mind you this was the advice of one of the best doctors In the State of North Carolina, and this conversation took place last February. I continued to burn with cauBtic ashe advised until September bnt derived no benefit from his treatment I was advised then by a friend to try your Remedy. (Bitters and Wash) took the first dose the 17th of September, and I am now a well man.tbe sore is perki ly cured, ftnd I can now walk as far, dance as much and jump as high' qb any man you know. Put me back to the 1st of September, let me know as much as 1 now do of the yirtue ot your Remedy, And I would not hesitate to pay tea dol lars a bottle for it, if 1 could not get it for less.;' I. think more of it than any medieQi in tbe world. It is not only the best Remedy to purify the blood and care all skin diseases, but 1 believe it will cure all kinds of blood diseases, and 1 if -ill rnrft a love for strong drink. Co.,. met with a sad accident last Saturday night. He jumped from the mail train on that road which had just come in, for the purpose of arranging a switch, and as he alight, ed struck against another man, a wood passer, who was near the train at tbe time, and whom he did not notice. The wood-passer was - knocked down and Hampton also fell with one of his legs extending acroes the track, over which one of the engine wheels passed, crushing it fearfully. It was found necessary to amputate the leg just below the knee, which was done, and at last accounts the injured man was doing well. Hampton is about 25 years of age, and has been accounted a likely fellow, j Disappointment in matters of pleasure is hard to be borne, in matters affecting health it becomes cruel. June Gardner, Conductor on the Carolina Central R. B., told us thia raging at Wadesbero when he passed that town" last night, about 11 o'clock, with his train, bound East. He says that the fire must have originated about 11 o'clock, as it was visible long before the train reached the Wadesboro depot, which is a mile from the town. Wades boro, be it remembered, is on a high eminence, and a fire there can be very plainly visible for many miles in more than one direction. A special to the Review from Wadesboro, received at 3 o'clock, this P. M., gives all ot the information relative to the fire we have been able to obtain. It says that seven business houses were burned entailing a loss of $25,000. There was veiy little insurance. The sufferers are Wm. Murr & Br., Geo. if. Horton, ur. B. B. Horton, Wm. Pinkson, H. Men- sin x, T. S. Crowson and the Misses Les ter. The fire originated from a stovej in Mr. G. P. HortonS store. The Hebrew Fair.
